One of the frequently asked questions is – which among the several āmnāya mantras does a śrīvidyōpāsaka recite every day? Amnāya mantras are recited as required based on the purpose. However, for purposes of every day upāsanā, the following mantras are considered primarily important (needless to say, for a pūrṇa-dīkṣita):

1. Gurupādukā (Gurutrayam)
2. Mahāgaṇapati
3. Lalitā (Pañcadaśī, ṣōḍaśī, Yōgabālā, Annapūrṇā, Aśvārūḍhā)
4. śyāmalā (Rājaśyāmalā, Laghuśyāmalā, Vāgvādinī, Nakulīṣvarī)
5. Vārāhī (Mahāvārāhī, Laghuvārtāḷī, Svapnavārāhī, Tiraskariṇī)
6. Parā Bhaṭṭārikā

ūrdhvāmnāya Tantra prescribes the following mantras for nitya-japa:
